A Spanish Journey – Sunday 1 June 3-4pm

From masterpieces by Tomás Luis de Victoria, a composer of the Catholic Counter-Reformation known for the emotional intensity of his work, to joyous excerpts from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story and contemporary works by Cuban and Basque composers, this concert celebrates the passion, colour, and directness of the Spanish spirit. With special guests pianist Jessica West and percussionist Jarryd West adding extra brio, we guarantee you will leave this concert shouting ¡¡Arriba!!
