Cantabile is an auditioned choir but we make the process as easy as possible!

Singers auditioning for choir membership should have good music reading skills and be willing to commit to regular and punctual attendance at rehearsals.  Choristers are expected to put in work at home, learning and reviewing repertoire, so that rehearsal time can be used most effectively.

Audition Process:  The audition process is quite informal, with the singer participating in rehearsal for several weeks, after which time the Director will privately inform the singer as to whether he/she has been accepted for membership in the choir.

Upon being accepted for membership in the choir, payment of the annual subscription, or pro rata part thereof, and music bond is required.

Current subscription and bond are:  $300 full annual subscription ($200 concession) or $80 per term ($50 concession); and a $50 returnable music bond.
