Cantabile was joined by actor and singer Geoffrey Baird, in presenting an afternoon concert of songs, sonnets and readings Shakespearian to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of the Bard of Avon. We were pleased to perform to a full house at the Kew Courthouse – Just Theatre.
Cantabile sang a selection of songs set to Shakespeare’s words in a moving commemoration of the life of Paul Roebuck, one of the luminaries of the Victorian Shakespeare scene for many years.
Cantabile sang the “Missa Aeterna Christi Munera” by Palestrina and two other sacred pieces at the Sunday morning service in the chapel of the Little Sisters of the Poor
Once again we sang in foyers and wards with great engagement with many patients, friends and relatives and staff. Thank you for having us.
