REIMAGININGS – Sunday 21 June 3-4pm

Join Cantabile Choir on Sunday, 21 June 2026, 3-4pm at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Fitzroy for Reimaginings.

Director Barbara Chalmer; Guest artists Anna March – soprano, Linda Kent – piano & organ.

Composers often take inspiration from sacred, literary, and traditional texts and our June 21 concert invites you to compare different settings of the same text as a way of appreciating how a composer’s particular lens can colour the way we react to words.

There will be five different texts (in addition to the Latin Mass) and fifteen different settings by composers as diverse as Andrea Gabrieli, Gioachino Rossini and Eriks Esenvalds.

Tickets $25 Full, $20 Concession card/Student (children under 12 free) available from Trybooking and at the door.

Note Prebooking is strongly advised due to limited seating. An express queue for prebooked tickets will speed entry on concert day.
